The St. Louis Rams announced that their Week 4 preseason finale will start an hour earlier. The Thursday, August 30 game at the Edward Jones Dome against the Baltimore Ravens will now start at 6 p.m. CT rather than 7 p.m. Mark your calendars, because you will not want to miss a minute of preseason football.
August 30 is packed with games as the league wraps up preseason play so that college football can have the holiday weekend.
All kidding aside, that game will be an important one in determining the final shape of the 53-man roster. The second and third team players usually see almost all of the work in the last week of the preseason. This year, teams have to make their final cuts on Aug. 31, the day after the last preseason game.
The Rams and the Chiefs play Saturday night at the Edward Jones Dome at 7 p.m. The Rams are on the road to Dallas the week after that for a Saturday night game against the Cowboys.
