Interesting things from Day 1.

An Interesting tradition for my father and me is to watch the first day of camp. WE make note of the line ups, attitude, and performance of the players. After watching 3 hrs of drills and scrimages, I have much to tell you.

1. Craig Dahl is taking snaps as starting strong safety. Darian Stewart played in the second string defense next to Matt Daniels the rookie from Duke. So Craig Dahl is our starting SS right now.

2. The nickle corner today was Bradley Fletcher. When switching to the Nickle defense, Mario Haggan subbed out for Bradley Fletcher who played the outside corner with Janoris Jenkins as Cortlan Finnigan moved to the slot.

3. Danny Amendola is back. I saw Danny today moving fast and with purpose. On one beautiful play, he juked the shoes off of Cortland and made a nice catch and then took off down the field.

4. The starting WR set is Gibson and Amendola. Brian Quick is taking 2nd string snaps, he had many plays where the body position was fantastic, but he needs to catch away from his body.

5. Starting LBs today were SLB Haggan, MLB James Laurinaitis, and WLB Dunbar. Rocky McIntosh was in the 2nd string defense.

6. The practice was run efficiently and with alot of hustle. Fisher is running a good camp.

7. Finally, Our new Kicker Greg Z can boot the ball. He was kicking sky high field goals, for fun he aimed at the camera man perched on top of the machines around Rams park, and he would have hit the camera guy full in the face if it hadn't been for the rails. He can kick. I am already excited for the Rams season after one day.
