The Detroit Lions signed former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Dominique Curry on Monday. Curry himself reported the news via Twitter.
I kept my faith!!! One door was opened then closed, now another door has been opened... I would like to thank Detroit for the opportunity

Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2010, Curry became a special teams staple in his rookie season. Unfortunately, his injuries overshadowed his contributions in St. Louis as a rookie. A 2-win season in 2011 overshadowed everyone on the team. Curry never caught on as a receiver with the Rams; in fact, he never even caught a single pass in the regular season.
The Rams released him in May.
He is a very good special teams player and a hard worker who can contribute. He even gets a chance to win some games with the Lions.
On another note, teams are making a small flurry of moves on Monday as camp gets underway. Keep your eyes on the wires and be sure to follow @TurfShowTimes for more.
