Ever wonder what it would be like to be St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola? Of course you have. And you know that it would probably be pretty darn interesting to say the least. The Rams gave us all a chance to get a sampling of the Amendola experience last week when they attached a helmet camera and microphone to the poor man's Wes Welker's lid.
The results were ... well, you really should have a look for yourself. It's like a Paul Greengrass film, with the shaky wildly moving POV camera. It also makes you realize just how damn scary punt returns are, even in practice.
I know we've posted the link a couple of times already, but now we're embedding the video directly. There's also one featuring James Laurinaitis all wired up in practice last week, so check that one out as well.
Lots of grunting, but pretty cool to watch.
