In 2010, the world of football was set ablaze by the phenomenal performances of Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski. The NFL, being a copy cat league, was scrambling to find other Tight Ends who could duplicate their success. The Rams may have found one. Jamie Childers, who comes from Coastal Carolina, is 6-5, and is built like a big, strong WR. Here are some of his highlights. His number is #7.

Above was his 2011 and 2010 highlight reels, the last one being a long video(no sound) of all his highlights. Watching the tape, he shows some great athleticism, and hands seemingly made of Velcro, with many of his catches being plucked out of thin air. He has speed, and can break tackles or make people miss. And add to that some good blocking(at 2:45 in the last video, you can see him seal the edge incredibly well) BAM! A star TE in making! The only downfall I see with Childers is that his route running may not be very good, as is the case with many small school prospects. I am not sure why he went undrafted, maybe because of his injury that you see at the end of the 2011 tape. However, Childers seems to have a lot of potential to become the next great TE, and prehaps take the NFL by storm.
P.S If you want, I may break down the 15 min video, at the time of making the post, I hadn't seen the video.
