is Jackson calling out Quick a good thing or bad thing?

in Jackson's press conference yesterday hes was asked "what have you seen out of Brian Quick"?

His response was not quite what i expected.

"Hes um... big receiver... big target... he has a bit of a ways to go and what i mean by that is comin from Appalachian and nothing against it but its a difference. its a difference on this field its a difference on a mentality of a pro and you know with coach Sherman im pretty sure he will get him right but over the next 6 weeks hes gonna have to work really hard to get ready to prepare for a long season because were gonna lean heavily on him. hes a high draft pick and we need someone on the outside to make plays and you know im challenging him right now that were gonna need him over these next 6 weeks to prepare himself to be a standout on this team."

What i take out of his comments are that hes been struggling and not really made an impression on Jackson. Ofcoarse hes not gonna say that to the world because hes a professional athlete and he doesnt wanna be a bad teamate. Now keep in mind that Jackson really wanted Blackmon and this could just mean that he wants to see that same type of playmaking ability out of Quick.
