To start, Our front four is great. Brockers will stuff the run,Long and quinn comming off the edge, And Langford is pretty solid at DT
Next I'll talk about our Secondary. We have Finnegan. Solid. We have Jenkins. Solid. Johnson: Solid, however I feel he fits well at the FS position. Like REALLY REALLY WELL. However, He won't be replacing Mikell. And at SS we have Stewart, who I Like. I honestly would like to see all these players have a chance to start, So here's where my 4-2-5 scheme comes into play.
At Linebacker, we pretty much have JL55. Dunbar, I just see as a backup. So here, we could go with Jo-Lonn, or trade for another Inside player, which I feel is the way to go. I see this scheme working out like a 3-4. In terms of having two line backers work the middle.
For Passing plays, we line up like normal, however we have two FS, splitting the feild, and two shutdown corners, shutting down, and the SS does, whatever.
Now the big question here would be the run. We will line up just like a 4-3 however Stewart, who has been defined as a "Linebacker-Safety hybrid" lines up in that third slot, what ever our line doesn't stuff up, we have JL55, another LB and Stewart to goble up.
I am in love with this scheme because I feel it plays to our abilities. We can generate a great pass rush with our line, and our secondary is great. This is where playing to your abilities makes you better.
