First, let me say that I am a fan of the recently completed draft. It seems as though the FO stuck to their board and selected the players they wanted, more or less. They added talent--albeit unproven talent--and potentially set the team up to have a great D-Line, a top-5 secondary, an explosive complementary RB to take pressure off of Jackson, and a much improved and well-rounded WR corps. This is not a one-year project, and while more holes could have potentially been filled in this draft, I have faith that the team is on the right path.
True to his own personal draft philosophy, Fisher waited until a late round to select a LG, which is still, as I see it, a glaring hole, with either Mattison, Turner, or the newly drafted Watkins available to play the position. If that's his philosophy, and he is confident that Boudreau can coach 'em up, I'm OK with that, although I still hope they look for some veteran help.
On the OLB front, however, I think the gamble to trade down in round 2 and forego selecting the best OLB available--remember, no 4-3 OLB had yet been selected by pick 45--was troubling. Now, I realize that if they had selected an OLB--either Wagner or Kendricks, according to their reported board--either Pead or Johnson wouldn't be a Ram, and I am hopeful of both of those players. It is nevertheless worrisome to think that Dunbar, Hull, Cole, and the newly drafted/signed Brown, Brown, Hoffman-Ellis, Choice, and Keller are the only currently available options to man both OLB positions for the 2012 season.
It is for this reason that I ask if any of you have any input or knowledge of veteran FAs who are still, or might become, available to either start or add experienced depth at both LG and OLB. I will include a list of currently available FA players at those positions to get the conversation started. Or, feel free to lambaste me because you feel the team is set for 2012 at those positions. Either way, I look forward to hearing what you have to say, or more accurately, reading what you have to write.

Rocky McIntosh (Would like this, personally), Ernie Sims, Gary Brackett, Omar Gaither
