The St. Louis Rams are filling up their pre-draft appointment book with the big day less than three weeks away. Add LSU wide receiver Rueben Randle to the list of prospects that will spend some one-on-one time with the Rams prior to the draft.
Randle joins Justin Blackmon as the second receiver on the Rams' pre-draft dance card, that we know about. As an LSU receiver - ask 3k for more on that subject - Randle is not the most well-honed player, particularly when it comes to working the full route tree. Still, that is a skill that can be learned.
Randle has the raw skills, the kind of things that are much harder to teach, that have made him a potential late first-round or early second-round pick. He has good hands that rarely drop a football. He is also a big man at 6'4" who can separate with long-striding speed down the field. You read a wide variety of opinions on Randle, because the LSU offense is a strange place for receivers. In essence, it's all about the upside with Randle.
Here's a list of pre-draft visits and workouts the Rams have scheduled.
