FS Janzen Jackson's McNeese St Pro Day: Are The Rams Interested?

According to McNeese Sports.com; Janzen Jackson the Tennessee Volunteer transfer, recorded a 40 time of 4.49. Jackson reportedly had a vertical jump of 37'. His forty time improved from 4.57 recorded at The NFL Combine back in February. Jackson was dismissed from The Tennessee program for off the field incidents. He transferred to McNeese St in an effort to revive his football career and reputation. Jackson played FS next to future first round draft pick Eric Berry during his freshman season at Tennessee. He demonstrates excellent coverage ability and range. Jackson closes quickly on the ball. He packs a punch when he delivers a hit.

A few teams of note were at The McNeese St pro day and got a close up look at Jackson:

The Seattle Seahawks. Adding Jackson to their roster could make their defense even better. That is a scary thought.

The New York Giants. The safety position could use an upgrade. The NFL champs could find a bargain with Jackson in rounds 4-5.

The New Orleans Saints. A promising young safety like Jackson may become necessary with the looming suspensions of defensive personnel.

The St. Louis Rams. Secondary help is needed. Jackson has the ability to cover and create turnovers.
