The rams made two solid additions with quick and givens in the draft. Quick is comparable to T.O. and goes up for the ball with the best of them, and Givens has the speed to be the deep ball guy that donnie avery never turned out to be. However, if we really want to be realistic about this you have to consider that Quick may take a little longer to adjust to the nfl because he came from a d1aa school and is more of a raw talent. Im not saying he won't be able to make plays but it might take a little. We have danny amendola and steve smith on the roster who are both slot receivers although I do think smith can work outside a little more than people give him credit for. I feel that the rams should try and sign a veteran (OUTSIDE) receiver such as a plaxico burress or maybe braylon edwards to help quick out. Both edwards and burress played for schottey in NewYork and I think we need one of them to help out Quick. The recievrs are getting better but I don't think Quick will come in right away and be amazing. I think signing a plaxico Burress to a one year deal couldhelp develope quick.
