I know it sounds crazy, but...

From what rumors I am hearing, and remember, they are strictly rumors, is that Miami left tackle Jake Long is on the trading block. Why would Miami trade away quite possibly the best left tackle in the league? Well, I couldn't give you a good logical explanation. Now I bet their will be quite a bit of interest in Jake Long if this is true, but could the Rams have an advantage over most, if not all of the other teams that would be interested?

The Rams have a good amount of draft picks at their disposal, so if it is picks that Miami wants, their should be no problem here. I would easily give a 1st and a 2nd for Jake Long... now would they be happy with that? That I am not sure of. The speculation about Long being traded came when Miami decided to take Stanford left tackle Jonathan Martin with the 42nd pick of the draft. With a new coach in Miami brings a new regime. Now I know Rodger Saffold plays left tackle currently, but we could easily move him to right and well do away Jason Smith. Also, Long has never missed a game in his NFL career.
