Right now, it's high noon New Mexico time. I decided to take a quick look at the players the St. Louis Rams have taken so far in the 2012 NFL Draft:
Chart courtesy of Yahoo Sports:
| Rd | Pk | Video | Player | POS | Ht | Wt | College | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 14 (14) | Michael Brockers | DT | 6-6 | 306 | LSU | from Cowboys | |
| 2 | 1 (33) | Brian Quick | WR | 6-3 | 215 | Appalachian State | ||
| 2 | 7 (39) | Janoris Jenkins | CB | 5-10 | 182 | North Alabama | from Redskins | |
| 2 | 18 (50) | Isaiah Pead | RB | 5-11 | 200 | Cincinnati | from Bears | |
| 3 | 2 (65) | Trumaine Johnson | CB | 6-2 | 204 | Montana | ||
| 4 | 1 (96) | Chris Givens | WR | 6-0 | 195 | Wake Forest |
Like ever NFL fan, there are some picks I like, others I wonder about? Isaiah Pead is the pick I'm not all that sure about just yet. As the draft has unfolded, one of the key "needs" positions for the Rams - Outside Linebacker - hasn't been addressed in the first four rounds. Taking the Cincinnati running back in the second round seems a bit of a reach to me? Is there a player you aren't all that thrilled the Rams have chosen so far?
