With the first pick of the fourth round the St. Louis Rams select Chris Givens, WR, from Wake Forest. The Rams continue to add talent to their roster, and playmakers around Sam Bradford.
Given's was in Mike Mayock's top 5 wide receivers, before the combine. That's the first thing that put him on the map. He give the Rams what they been desperately been needing, and that's a consistent vertical threat. Given's could end up being a great number 2 for the Rams.
With Chris Given's and Brian Quick, and now Isaiah Pead the Rams have added another playmaker, and that should make Sam Bradford happy.
I briefly, wrote about Given's earlier in the post about Danario Alexander being replaced. It might not happen, but he does do what the Rams needed Alexander to do for the team.
The team has added three wide receivers, so far this off-season: the two in the draft (Quick and Givens), as well as Steve Smith in free agency. Sam Bradford should be happy about the pick.
