The Rams have selected Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama with the 39th pick in the draft. The troubled CB is the newest problem player to be on a Jeff Fisher coached team.
Jenkins' talent isn't in question, by that he would be a top 20 pick, but his character is. He has multiple arrest and have 4 children with 3 different women. He was kicked out of Florida and had to transfer to a small school, where his issues with pot still continued.
On a positive note, Jenkins isn't that far off the talent level of 6th overall pick Morris Claiborne. He has everything you want in a CB, on the field at least.
The Rams made a statement that CB was not a finished position, even though Cortland Finnegan was signed in FA. Bradley Fletcher and Jerome Murphy are both coming off severe injuries, but if they both come back healthy, the Rams have a very impressive group of CBs.
Welcome the newest Ram, Janoris Jenkins.
