Why not trade our 7th (39th) 2nd rounder for WR Wallace?

Rams brothers,

I think we should consider offering our 7th pick in the second round to Pittsburgh for WR Mike Wallace. I realize it would need to be a sign-and-trade kind of deal but why not? We would acquire a true, PROVEN #1 WR with incredible stats (3,000+ yards, 24 TDs in the last three years and he is only 25), exactly what we need. We could address our OL (Cordy Glenn) with the 1st pick, and then go BPA with our 3rd pick. Wallace is still not signing his contract and next year he could leave the Steelers and Pittsburgh wouldn't get anything in return.

I am of the opinion that a proven WR is way more valuable that someone with tons of potential but that has never taken a single snap in the NFL.

I understand the cost implications but assuming that those can be worked out by the FO, why not??

Go RAMS!

Updated: I just found this link talking about this scenario from a Steelers fan site:
