Solid Mock

Our first rounder could go three ways(richardson, blackmon, claiborne). All three are great and will have many pro bowl years in the future. With the first three picks pretty much locked, those are our choices. I believe the Browns will draft Blackmon. They need an RB and WR, but McCoy really needs to develop, and Blackmon would help immediately. The Bucs are in a similar situation, but with CB. Claiborne is too good for them to pass up.

Round 1(6) Rams select Trent Richardson. RB, Alabama.

T-Rich would be a great backup for Jackson. He is fast and tough and would give us one of the best running back duo's in the game and take some pressure off Bradford. Fisher has a history with a strong running game and would be a perfect fit. He would even be able to have a mentor in Jackson.

Round 2(1) Rams select Zach Brown. OLB, UNC

This guy is a beast. He has great hustle and fills arguably our biggest need. Not to mention, he had a great college career and a fantastic combine, flashing great athleticism and skill. Oh, and he's also a Rams fan. How about that for extra motivation?

Round 2(6) Rams select Mohamed Sanu. WR, Rutgers.

Its about time. Finally a receiver. Sanu is underrated but would definitely be an upgrade over our current group of WRs. Sanu is big and quick, and has the ability to effectively run the wildcat, as shown from his time at Rutgers. Sanu could easily be the biggest steal in the second round. The Rams also just hired Frank Cignetti as a quarterback coach for Bradford. Why is this important? Cignetti was the offensive coordinator at Rutgers which would help Sanu blossom.

Round 3(1) Rams select Alameda Ta'amu. DT, Washington.

Ta'amu may be reach here, but this must be the pick if here. He is underrated as DT with the many good DT prospects this season. There is a possibility of him going late second round, but I feel we will have a chance at him. WIth one of the worst run defenses in the league last year, we need all the help we can get. Pairing him with newly signed Kendall Langford would benefit our defense and give us a great front four, along with Quinn and Long.

Round 4(1) Rams select Brandon Mosley. OT, Auburn.

We need an upgrade on our O-line, Mosley would help.

Round 6(1) Rams select Ron Brooks. CB, LSU.

We were devastated by injuries in our secondary last year. Brooks would be a solid backup behind Fletcher and newly signed Finnegan.

Round 7 Punter

What do you guys think? I believe this would be a great draft that addresses alot of our needs. Let me know how I did! Thanks!
