Just went to DraftTek.com and tried out their draft sim. Pretty interesting stuff. First time, I just used their default values for the Rams needs and it spit out the following:
| Round | Pick | Selection | Psn | School | ReachValue | |
| 1 | 6 | Michael Floyd | WRF | Notre Dame | Reach | |
| 2 | 33 | Bobby Massie | OT | Mississippi | Reach | |
| 2 | 39 | Kendall Reyes | DT43 | Connecticut | Value | |
| 3 | 65 | Jerel Worthy | DT43 | Michigan State | Value | |
| 4 | 95 | Robert Turbin | RBF | Utah State | Value | |
| 6 | 159 | Duke Ihenacho | SS | San Jose State | Value | |
| 7 | 191 | Ryan Steed | CB | Furman | Value |
Now before you start calling me a Blackmon hater, I'll tell you that I didn't change any of their default needs assignments. The second time I ran the sim i entered WR as the #1 position of need and OT #2. It still spit out the same draft selections.
I then thought, "well we need OLB help so let me give that position a higher value." I got this...
| Round | Pick | Selection | Psn | School | ReachValue | |
| 1 | 6 | Michael Floyd | WRF | Notre Dame | Reach | |
| 2 | 33 | Bobby Massie | OT | Mississippi | Reach | |
| 2 | 39 | Bobby Wagner | OLB43 | Utah State | Reach | |
| 3 | 65 | Jerel Worthy | DT43 | Michigan State | Value | |
| 4 | 95 | LaMichael James | RBC | Oregon | Value | |
| 6 | 159 | Akiem Hicks | DT43 | Regina | Value | |
| 7 | 191 | Omar Bolden | CB | Arizona State | Value |
Remember, all I did was put #1 value on WR, #2 on OT, and another #2 value on OLB. I didn't rate any individual player higher than another or block out specific players from a team. In all 3 drafts, for some reason it kept picking Floyd as the first pick.
What do you guys think?
P.S. I'd take the 2nd draft above along with WR Dale Moss, South Dakota State with the comp 7th round pick. Maybe switch out Bolden with CB Isaiah Frey, Nevada. It's a 7th rounder so whatever.
