Allow me to introduce myself, I am Hollywood Dolfan. Hollywood florida that is. Our SBnation sister site ThePhinsider, is doing a community mock draft and I have been charged with the ever so important task of picking 6th for your St. Luis Rams. The way we run our mock draft is fairly simple. We are getting to see every pick except for the one directly before us before our submission time and date. Therefore we must have two choices, in case our top choice is selected by the team right before us...
This is where I need some help...please.
I am going to run with what just about every draft pundit is saying, Rams= Blackmon. But if that is out of the question where do you go from there? From lurking around here for the last hour or so it seems you guys need a WR, DT, OLB, and an OG. Who in your opinions fits the bill at number 6? Is it a top flight DT? Like Cox or possibly Poe? OLB like Melvin Ingram? Or do you reach for David Decastro? (Personally not my ideal situation for a top ten pick but hey, I am no GM). If Blackmon was to be gone and I were in your position I might look to trade down, but alas in our mock there are no trades allowed. Therefore, I beg for a little insight from you guys. Please take the time to let me know what you think. I am not up to bat until the 8pm on the 27th so I have a little time for debate/consideration.
Ps. Sorry for your guys' luck with the whole Greg Williams thing but better now than later. At least he didn't taint your franchise as well. (Not sarcasm)
Sincerely,
Hollywood Dolfan
