Ok, for some time now this has been itching at the back of my brain, and im sure theres a very simple reason behind it that i haven't read or seen anywhere.
Under the new CBA, you can't restructure/extend UDFAs until after their 2nd regular season (3rd regular season for drafted players).
The reason why Bradford hasn't restructured his is because of this rule.
Now having said that, how is it that Ndamukong Suh (who was selected in the same draft as Bradford) able to restructure his contract with the Lions?
I'm sure im just an idiot and missing something, but if anyone could please explain why Suh can restructure his contract, and Bradford cant, i would be very greatful for the enlightenment.
