Rams Running Back Situation: Matt Forte

Just saw that the Chicago Bears have just signed Michael Bush. This news coupled with a disgruntled employee and potential hold out in Matt Forte presents a very interesting situation to the Rams, who have a huge stable to high picks in the coming years. The question I pose to you is whether or not the Rams use one of those picks to acquire Forte. My opinion on the matter after the jump...

There has been some talk in recent weeks that the Rams could be seeking a future replacement for Steven Jackson and could be willing to accomplishing that by drafting Alabama running back Trent Richardson. While he is a phenomenal talent, he is still an unproven commodity in the NFL. Matt Forte has established himself as one of the most versatile backs in the league last year and is still very young, at age 26. I think that with their new found depth at running back, the Bears could be willing to deal a disgruntled Fortre, and I think that he would love to come to a place where he knows that he is the future at the running back spot. Call me crazy, but I think that it could be worth a phone call from Les. What do you guys think? Also what would you be willing to give up, I'll say a future 1st and maybe a 3rd?
