I think it's official now I think football is dead when Roger Gooddell or however you want to pronounce his name slammed the gavel he actually swung a death scythe and killed football. I understand a lot of you are saying it was for the safety of the players and I say to you that you are wrong cause if it was Roger Gooddell wouldn't be contemplating an 18 game schedule which actually wouldn't be good for players can you imagine an 18 game schedule last year with the injuries the Ram's suffered??? but yet he put the hammer down on something that actually is vague. I think player's can play safely with new helmet's, pad's and so forth not "Punishment's" like Gooddell did all that does is kill football. I think that Warrren Sap and Michael Irving would have been accused of hitting for a bounty probably. I ask you how can you tell a good, clean hard hit from a hit for bounty??? you can't not really so what I think the defenders will start doing is not tackling not really they don't want to be accused of tackling for a bounty. I believe that from now on the league might as well pass around waist bands with flag's on them and change the League name from National Football League to National Flag Football League the NFFL.
