Why keep wasting picks on the line?

I've gotten to the point on this blog, where I really don't care what any of you say, when I come up with an idea. I've seen countless times, where people post their ideas and a lot of you fans, insult me, and fellow Rams fans. I remember a long time ago, the staff here on Turf Show Times, made a point to all of you, to show a little bit more respect to fellow fans. So before you go insulting my thought process, think about what your saying, be mature and rational with your comments.

Now that I've gotten that off of my chest, I'd like to share one of my pointless thoughts that have no effect on what our staff does this offseason, but I am a Madden buff, and my favorite part of Madden is the offseason. But really, It doesn't matter who our coaches are, have we not learned that drafting offensive linemen has done us no good? The last good offensive linemen drafted was Orlando Pace, he's gone now. Jason Smith was an failed attempt as well, lets hope he turns it around. What I'm trying to get at, is I'm a little tired of everyone thinking we need to build a good offensive line to be a better team. I happen to disagree. I personally think we are wasting draft picks on them. Our defensive line is fine, we'll pick up some good defensive linemen with Jeff Fisher as head coach anyways. So I'm thinking position players are WHAT we SHOULD be drafting personally.

Have we ever thought that maybe it's time we take a little pressure off of those guys? You don't think they don't hear about it? They can try and ignore it, but they are probably as tired as I am of hearing that. How about a little bit more faith in the guys we have on the offensive line? We can't just keep drafting different offensive linemen and expect them to be a good o-line. Lets draft some playmakers in the FIRST round, not the 2nd and beyond. You can't expect our offensive line to be good, when all we did was make Steven Jackson run the ball. We get playmakers and I guarantee you it takes some pressure off of those offensive linemen. Then they won't be worn out because of an all out blitz to stop Jackson every damn play. Lets give Smith one last try, and hell lets give Barnes a shot at center. I trust our new staff! They know what they are doing, after all who's getting paid millions to make these decisions? Not any of us.
