I was just reading Yahoo's rankings of the top 100 free agents, and I came across a name that really intrigued me.

Thomas missed the 2011 season with a torn ACL suffered in August. It will be interesting to see how the injury affects his value. Stacking him and teammate Aaron Ross on this list was challenging: There is some sentiment that Thomas — he had 31 passes defensed and 10 interceptions in 2009-10 — is the better player, but he is coming off a serious injury, which affected his standing in these rankings.

I didn't realize he was a UFA until then. He is a stud. Now, I realized a torn ACL isn't the best injury to come back from, but if you could get him cheap coming off the injury, why not?
