Rams Mock with Multiple Trades

This may seem crazy, but since everything at this point is conjecture, I figured, "Why not?"

First, cut whoever needs to be cut to create the cap space to re-sign Amendola, and sign Finnegan and the best WR available in FA.

Next, I think a trade with WAS is the best option. I suspect they will offer 2 1st round picks, as would CLE, but I am betting that even with RGIII, WAS will still be pretty crappy this upcoming season, especially if we relieve them of half of their draft, thereby making their 2013 1st round pick more valuable than CLE's #22 pick this year. Trade the #2 pick to WAS for their 2012 1st, 2nd, and 4th round picks and their 2013 1st round pick.

Then, I would try to sell SEA on Coples, as most pundits have a pass rushing DE as their #1 need, outside of QB, and many think Coples will be gone by their #12. Trade the #6 for SEA's 1st and 3rd round picks.

With the #12 pick, select David DeCastro and forget about the LG position for the next handful of years.

The 1st pick of Day Two will have a lot of value, as players will slip and teams will covet one. Reuben Randle and/or Stephen Hill will be available, and I suspect NE might have an interest in adding a WR. Or perhaps a CB or pass rusher. Either way, they have the desired ammo to move up to this spot. Trade the #33 pick for both of NE's 2nd round picks. That's it for trades.

2nd (From WAS) - Brandon Thompson, DT

2nd (From NE) - Bobby Wagner, OLB

2nd (From NE) - LaMichael James, RB

3rd- Chase Minnifield, CB/KR

3rd (From SEA) - Brian Quick, WR

4th- Nigel Bradham, OLB

4th (From WAS) - Ben Jones or Michael Brewster, C

6th- Asa Jackson, CB

7th- Levy Adcock, OT

7th- Devon Wylie, KR/PR

This might be unrealistic, but then again, it doesn't seem all that crazy. At least to me it doesn't. Either way, I would be happy if the draft turned out like this. I'm interested to see what you all have to say about this. Is it unrealistic? Would you be happy with this? Are there other players you would draft IF these trades were to happen. Thanks for reading. GO RAMS!!!
