Okay folks, hold onto your hats.
Here's my version of "the trade" with the 3 probable partners and my mock by need and position. Our first round needs are obvious, playmaking WR, Stud OL and DT solution. 2nd and 3rd rounds to fill out OLB, CB and additional WR or RB. I will mock the #4, 6, 22, 33, 36, 38, 66, 68, 97, 100 and 102. This takes us through the top of the 4th round.
Remember we won't get all of these picks, but depending on our trade partner, these are picks that might be available to us.
#4) Either Kalil or Blackmon period.
#6) Blackmon, Claiborne, Richardson or Reiff (if someone falls in love with him).
#8) Reiff, Richardson or trade down to Poe/DeCastro land.
#22) Fletcher Cox, Malcom Floyd or possibly Cordy Glenn.
#33) Fletcher Cox, Stephon Gilmore or Zach Brown.
#36) Stephon Gilmore, or Ronnel Lewis.
#38) Ronnel Lewis or Kalechi Osemele.
#66) Stephen Hill, A.J. Jenkins, Vontae Davis.
#68) Isaiah Pead, Vontae Davis or Keenan Robinson.
#70) Pead, George Iloka, Mitchell Schwartze (OT-Cal)
#97) Chris Polk, Casey Heyward, Nigel Bradham.
#100) Markelle Martin, Ledarious Green, Ronnie Hillman (RB--SD st.)
#102) Kheeston Randall, Nicolas Jean-Baptiste.
That's a lot of personnel to evaluate and no doubt it will change. But what follows is the most likely scenario. The trade is with Cleveland. Miami gets Flynn and Washington gets Manning. That only leaves Cleveland and possibly Seattle as trading partners so the Browns probably won't give away the farm. They still need RG3 and we'll probably receive #4, #22, #36 and next year's 1st rounder, which is the key to the trade.
Here's what I hope our 4 round draft looks like: #4 Blackmon, # 22 Cordy Glenn, #33 Fletcher Cox, #36 Stephon Gilmore, #66 Vontae Davis, #70 Mitchell Schwartze, #97 Chris Polk, #100 Ledarious Green.
I can't believe I have to leave my boy Isaiah Pead out, but I gots to have me some more O linemen!!
