Is WR a position of need? I think so...

Anyone remember Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce? Just finished watching highlights of them on Youtube. A nice reminder of what quality wide outs look like. Watching them catch and seeing their route running really drove home a huge point to me. The Rams cannot stand pat at the WR position. It needs to be addressed. An impact player needs to be brought in. If the Rams resign Lloyd, that is great, but they need another guy. Salas is the only wide receiver that the Rams have that I feel can develop into an excellent option in the passing game as a slot wide receiver. They still need to guys on the outside. Since Lloyd is technically a free agent I look at the Rams roster and see a need for 2 impact, playmaking WR's. Whether they address this in free agency or the draft (I would hope both) it is not something that can be ignored any longer. Maybe we were spoiled by having Bruce and Holt for so long, but we cannot start the season with Amendola, Alexander, and Gibson as our main options. That line up scares no one.

With that I will leave you with a random quote I found online:

"I knew we were in for a long season when we lined up for the national anthem on opening day and one of my players said, 'Every time I hear that song I have a bad game."
