I'll set a disclaimer that this is a very, very, highly unlikely situation. But, if it were to happen, we would end up with a ton of early talent.
So we start with our current early picks, that being #2 and #33. Say we trade to the Browns, #2 for #4 and #22.
Now we have #4, #22, #33. Let's also say that Matt Kalil is gone, and we decide that Blackmon just isn't our guy. So we make an effort to trade with the Bengals, who currently hold the #17 and #21 picks and might be looking to move up into the top 5 to get Trent Richardson to signal the end of Ced Benson. Maybe we'd have to give up a bit later of a round pick, but that would leave us with #17, #21, #22, #33. And let's just say for craziness sake, that we decide we love first round picks so much that we decide to trade with the New England Patriots, who may also look to move up to improve at CB or who knows what (a third super-stud tight end maybe?) and give them the #21 and a third rounder for the #27 and #31.
This leaves us with #17, #22, #27, #31, and #33. Four first rounders and the first 2nd rounder. Now, like I said, this is an extreme stretch, and I'm sure it won't happen. So we'll just consider it a fan fiction of sorts. But with these picks, think of all the talent we could pick up!
#17 - #1 WR Threat. Now, I'm not sure which receivers would be off the board at this point, but this is right before both SD, who could be looking to replace Vincent Jackson, and Chicago, who seems to be almost guaranteed to grab a receiver. So whether we ended up with Michael Floyd, Alshon Jeffery (assuming he rises and has actually been putting out effort to be worthy of a 1st round pick), or my personal favorite, Kendall Wright.
#22 - ILB Zach Brown is the #22 rated prospect on the big board I'm looking at, and sure he could go earlier, but that's an option. This would also be a good place to pick up one of the many talented DTs in this draft.
The rest would be anyone's guess, but it's always fun to dream.
In a more realistic world, trading #4 for #17 and #21 could be a pretty realistic situation. We might even be able to get more compensation than that. So if Blackmon isn't our guy and we're at #4 (assuming none of our other serious needs have studs rise their rankings to be worthy of that pick), I could definitely see us trading back.
