Rams in Real Life
Seeing all of this trade talk has mad me want to get something out and on the table. To clear things up, we will NOT get rid of Sam for RGIII. RGIII is such an incredible talent and WILL be more productive than Vince Young in the NFL but Fisher has already been down that road and I couldn't see him doing it again. RGIII will test out of the roof this week and we will have about 5 teams in the trade talks, so we will get what we want. I The trade I want to focus on right now is with Washington. If we can think back to last years draft and remember a very productive WR from the U named Leonard Hankerson. Hankerson was the dark horse of last years receiving prospects. He hauled in 5 catches for 100 yds at the senior bowl but it still wasn't enough for the rams, so we passed on him and drafted Pettis 2 picks earlier than him in the 3rd. Hankerson also passed Irvin as the all time leader in The U's receiving TD's in a season. He is a very productive but undervalued receiver, but with the QB play in Wash. last year he never had a chance and then was bitten by the injury bug. I would love to see a Blue and Gold 85 jersey flying around the field next year. A Likely trade would be to give up our 2nd over all for Wash. #6 as well as Hankerson, who will fill a need at WR, and will be a very prolific player in the league, we would also get 2nd and 3rd or one of the 3 Rbs (Helu, Hightower or Torrain) to fill our backup role. I fully expect us to bring in Hanesworth and get a WR from Free agency or re sign Lloyd.

Not that I expect to trade Sam but...
Most of Fisher’s career in Tennessee was with McNair as QB, especially his successful years. RGIII is a lot more like McNair than Bradford is.
stop
we have our QB and we will win with Sam. The grass isnt greener on the other side and Im sure Fisher knows that.

I wish....
I wish people would stop talking about trading Sam Bradford. Fisher has already said Bradford was the reason he took the job to coach the team because he felt Bradford was an elite and franchise caliber QB. You guys really need to quit with the trading Bradford thing because it would set the franchise back for some years if he is traded. RGIII is good but what if he turns out to be another JaMarcus Russell???
As far as the trade situation with the Skins in this article, for the Rams to get Hankerson, draft picks, and one of the RB’s, you got to be crazy to receive all of that and then still get value for the 1st overall pick. C’mon now. You can’t be serious
I'd have to think the 2nd pick of the draft is worth more then Leonard hanker son
I mean think about it we would basically swap picks with washington and get hankerson as pay, fuck that

I wouldn't want to give up a pick for him either,
just take him as “icing on a cake” on top of a set of picks / a final deal sweetener as Wash pushes to win the bidding war for the #2. You wouldn’t like that?
Not saying hankerson is the next great thing, just like his potential.

Hankerson would be nice...but he ain't no Blackmon....

Blackmon has some special abilities, no doubt.
Have you seen the Espn sport science show on him?

Looks better there than on the field.
Where are all those pretty catches when it matters? I can’t find any on his game highlights. Also a 33" vertical isn’t that impressive, there will be guys in the low 40’s.
