2 First Round Trades(UPDATED)
The Browns decide to take the chance on RGIII and trade their 2 first round picks to us for the #2 pick. The Rams are just about to call Blackmons name when they get a call from the Bengals for the #4 pick. They give up their 2 first round picks and their 2nd round pick for the #4 pick and select Blackmon to pair with A.J. Green. The Rams now have the #17, #21, #22, #33, #53, #66, #96, #160, and #192 picks in the draft.
With the #17 pick the Rams select Michael Floyd WR.
With the #21 pick the Rams select Cordy Glenn G.
With the #22 pick the Rams select Peter Konz C.
With the #33 pick the Rams select Zach Brown OLB.
With the #53 pick the Rams select Brandon Thompson DT.
With the #66 pick the Rams select Travis Lewis OLB.
With the #96 pick the Rams select Dwight Jones WR.
With the #160 pick the Rams select Michael Egnew TE.
With the #192 pick the Rams select Janzen Jackson CB.
In this mock I have the Rams not resigning Lloyd. They will sign Finnegan CB, and Jones DT in FA.

Not fond of the Miller pick, but I like the trade ideas!

I thought about taking
Floyd, Jeffrey, or even Peter Konz there but figured Miller would be gone by the second and Richardson would be gone by the Miller pick.

There would be a mass suicide
from the throng of Justin Blackmon fans hoping for him to singlehandedly save the franchise.
I would take Blackmon at #4 or #6 but
figured the trade would benefit the Rams much more. Blackmon, or 3 top 53 picks. I’ll take the picks all day.

This team can certain use the shear amount of talent
this could provide and I am certainly for that. At #4 if both Kalil and Blackmon are remarkably still available, I take Kalil. At #6 if Blackmon is still available, I’d take him.
I think Kalil goes at #3 or #4
but anything is possible. It would be hard to trade the #4 if Kalil were still available but like I said above, multiple top round picks would be better imo.

DeCastro probably won't last past AZ if none of the top 3 OT's are available, IMO.
I like Adams, but only as a RT. He’s too slow when it comes to speed rushers. The rest of the picks seem good to me.
I was thinking the same about Decastro. Just being optimistic.
Would Cordy Glenn be a reach at #21 or #22? And take bpa at #17.

I'd definitely consider Glenn starting around that point

Agreed on Adams
I haven’t heard a lot of positives, other than the Senior Bowl, about this guy. And that was from OSU fans.
Pass on adams

Thank you!
I felt in the minority lately about Adams and his potential 1st round grade. I don’t see Adams dominating by any means. I think he would have an extremely tough time against NFL pass rush. I would be disappointed if we used either of our first two picks on Adams
I was having trouble finding a good combo for the first round picks
but with some better options I will update. Any suggestions?

My only problem is a Rb in the first, hell no..

I hear ya about the RB in the first.
Who would you take instead? I don’t know much about the late first round prospects.

Would love to see you grab a playmaking WR at pick 21/22
Also liked the Egnew pick. Low risk, he seemed to show good hands in college. Thats also coming from someone who doesn’t necessarily watch a lot of tight end play and watches mizzou only on occasion
Who would you take?
Floyd, Jeffrey, or Wright?

I haven't done much research on Sanu.
I thought he was more of a 2nd round prospect?

I like his potential, it will be up to him to reach that potential.
He has speed, he’s quick off the line, he’s got the physical tools, and IMO has more upside. The other three don’t have the speed to be a complete WR. They can all go up and get the ball, go across the middle, and all could help this team, but you can’t teach someone to be faster. The combine will show us their timed runs, but the splits are of more importance IMO. I don’t know, I really like what I see from Sanu.
Speed
What is he expected to run in the 40? I know 40 times aren’t everything. Just wondering.

I don't know expectation.
When he runs he reminds me a little of E. Dickerson in the respect he doesn’t look like he’s running fast, as he’s running by people. I’m not too much a fan of highlight reels for evaluation. None the less, here is a link to show you some of his talent;

Thanks for the link.
He looks big, strong, fast, and the one handed grab and sideline catches make him look attractive(no homo).

cbs prospects chart
has him running at about the same speed as blackmon, flloyd, jeffrey. in fact, they have him as slower than all 3. the only true burner early in the draft is wright. i suppose he could be available at 17, but i like the floyd pick just fine.
I like the Floyd pick but didn't know if he would fall.
I hear mixed reviews on him.

the trades
love the post if this can possibly happen then we shoud go for it im all for picks all day as long as they are smart and they only part i disagree with is prince akumenayaras teammate from college might come out this year id love to snag him
These trades
make us a much better team. I like Cordy Glen very much as a day 1 starter at Guard and a developmental project at RT. I lke Konz o.k. but I might try M. Davis instead at 1.22. I don’t have a good feeling about T. Lewis, but at #66—maybe. I’m having trouble seeing WR Jones fall to the 4th round—so I think a 3rd round receiver. M. Jones from Cal would be about right ? And I totally have a man-crush on Keenan Robinson of Texas with that early 4th round pick. I don’t pay much attention to round 5-7 as we have sucked so badly in the late rounds that it’s windy in Chicago!
Appreciate the input
I took Konz because he would be the upgrading at C we need. I’ve seen D Jones drafted here in a few mocks and we need WRs. I would take another DT there or C if not Konz in the 1st but I have a feeling Fish will want to finish the D this year though.
