How's this trade
Rams trade the #2 pick along with Justin King(CB) & Brandon Gibson(WR) to the Browns for their #4, #37, #68, #117 in this years draft. Brandon Gibson had a good season when Pat Shurmur was our OC. Justin King needs a new place to start and with the Browns needing secondary help.
The #2 pick is worth 2,600
The #4, #37, #68, #117 picks are worth 2,640. I just don't think that this will be an issue but i can be wrong. Also The Browns would be able to keep their #22 pick in the first round.
#4 Rd 1 - Justin Blackmon (WR) 6'1 - 215
#33 Rd 2 - Zach Brown (OLB) 6'2 - 230
#37 Rd 2 - Doug Martin (RB) 5'9 - 210
#66 Rd 3 - Alameda Ta'amu (DT) 6'3 - 335
#68 Rd 3 - Senio Kelemete (OG) 6'3 - 305
#96 Rd 4 - Mike Brewster (OC) 6'4 - 305
#117 Rd 4 - Tony Bergstrom (ROT) 6'5 - 315
#160 Rd 6 - Terrell Manning (OLB) 6'3 - 233
#192 Rd 7 - Brian Peters (SS) 6'4 - 215
Now how about this F.A. - Cortland Finnegan(CB), Jason Jones(DT), John Carlson(TE), Demetrius Bell(OT)
Let me know what you think : )

Solid Draft
It was a smart move to trade players for additional picks. Would you use UDFA’s to add depth at CB and WR? Who would you target?
I think this is more realistic
Holmgren aint gonna give up both first rounders. The points swap looks correct. I disagree with the players though, except for Brown, Ta’amu and Brewster.

I don't understand everyone's love obsession with John Carlson
He has always been overrated and the Rams have a plethora of TEs already. I cannot see how Carlson is any better than Kendricks even after last year. Use the money somewhere else, not at a glut of a position.
Re: How's This Trade
The only way for Browns to hold serve is to surrender both 1st rd picks. Falcons gave two 1’s, 2nd, and two 4’s for Julio Jones in 2011 at #6. Both 1st rd picks, 3rd, and both 4th in this year’s draft would be a better scenario.
- Rd1 – Alshon Jeffery (WR) 6’4" 230
- Rd1 – Vontaze Burfict (OLB) 6’3" 250
- Rd2 – Jerel Worthy (DT) 6’3" 292
- Rd3 – Nick Toon (WR) 6’3" 212
- Rd3 – Bobby Massie (OT) 6’6" 318
- Rd4 – Sean Spence (OLB) 6’0" 212
- Rd4 – George Iloka (S) 6’3" 222
- Rd4 – Cyrus Gray (RB) 5’10" 196
- Rd6 – Ryan Miller (OG) 6’8" 320
- Rd7 – Kyle Wilber (OLB) 6’5" 235
D. Bell is a walking injury prone OT.
How good will he be when he’s on the injury report and not playing? Wasted pick up IMO. If you don’t believe me about his injury history, look it up. He’s only played more than 8 games in a seaon only once in the last 3 yrs. Again, wasted pick up and waste of Rams money.
Manning is supposed to go in the 3rd, from what I read. If he drops to the 6th he may be one of the best pick-ups for us.
good idea but.............
I don’t know where, maybe 2A or B, you have to go o-line earlier, then olb or DT?. King will not be traded, yeah I said it. He will make the team if one of the injured players don’t make it back this year.

Re: re: @ How's This Trade
“O-line you say?” Ideal key UFA acquisitions are: D. Bell (BUF) – OT, V. Manuwai (JAC) – OG,
K. McKenzie (NYG) – OT, C. Meyers (HOU) – C, M. Bush (OAK) – RB, J. Jones (TEN) – DT, and E. Wright (DET) – CB. This approach is 1) Fits a Jeff Fisher type rebuild base on his football philosophy. (2) Builds the Stl Rams to instant creditability. (3) These key acquisitions could possibly be structured under the salary cap when contracts are stretched out over yrs. (4) With assistants coming on board that are in-tuned to the coach and coordinators philosophy… this would be one enticing group of players. Check out players names and profiles attached to my comments. Ummmm…. Intriguing, “isn’t it?”
