Random Ramsdom, 2/1: CVC Proposal Due

The city of St. Louis presents its vision for the future of the Ed Jones Dome today. Will the Rams like what they see?

Hey everybody! Today is the day that the proposal about the "top tier" status on the Edward Jones Dome is due by the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission. This proposal will undoubtedly be rejected by the St. Louis Rams who will then have until March 1st to present a counter offer. After that, it goes to arbitration. Though the proposal given today will be rejected, it will be interesting to see what the first offer by the city is. It could give a hint on how desperate they are to keep the Rams in St. Louis. Let's get to the links now!

Super Bowl Media Day

The wackiest day of all of Super Bowl week, Media Day, was yesterday. Here was a nice summary of events.

Is Matt Kalil the best OT?

Mike Mayock doesn't seem to think so. He has Riley Reiff rated as his highest OT on his board. By the way, the link came from a Vikings Blog. Wonder which way they're leaning in the Blackmon/Kalil debate?

GM update- Jim Thomas

Jim Thomas has your update for the Rams GM search. Right now the candidates are Joey Clinkscales, George Paton, Steve Keim, Les Snead and Brian Gaine. One thing they all have in common is youth in terms of being a GM that is.

Peyton Manning is a bigger news story than the Super Bowl

It's simply dumbfounding to me how the Peyton Manning saga has become a bigger story than the Super Bowl. It's actually amazing!! It speaks to the greatness of Manning but more to the ADD of the media.

That's all for today have a good one and go Rams!!
