Prior to the 2012 NFL, we traded the number two overall pick to Washington for the number 6, 39, and two future 1st rounders. Here's what it looks like now:
#6 overall: Traded to the Cowboys for number 14 and 45 overall.
#14 overall: Michael Brockers, DT. As of right now, I believe that the Rams got great value here for this gigantic run-stuffer. I feel good about this pick.
#39 overall: Janoris Jenkins, CB. This kid is a ball player. He has a swagger and is making things happen. I believe this was the steal of the draft.
#45 overall: Traded to the Bears for number 50 and 150 overall.
#50 overall: Isaiah Pead, RB. As of right now, not much of Pead has been seen. That isn't a bad thing with the emergence of Daryl Richardson. Time will tell on this one.
#150 overall: Rokevious Watkins, OG. After winning the starting left guard position, he was soon hurt and placed on IR. He looks to be a capable fill-in.
So, in the 2012 draft, this is what we made of the first part of the historic trade.
RG3 for Michael Brockers, Janoris Jenkins, Isaiah Pead, and Rokevious Watkins. Not a bad start.
