The 49ers hope to redeem themselves after a disappointing 24-24 stalemate with the Rams in Week 10.
The San Francisco 49ers will try to keep rolling toward the playoffs and an NFC West title as they head to St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday.
San Francisco (8-2-1) has posted two impressive victories since the last meeting with the Rams, downing the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football and besting the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome last Sunday. Second-year quarterback Colin Kaepernick will make his third consecutive start in place of Alex Smith. The dynamic signal caller has the 49ers to victories in each of his previous starts and it appears head coach Jim Harbaugh will continue to play the hot hand until it cools.
The Rams (4-6-1) haven't managed to do much since their surprising tie against the 49ers three weeks ago, losing to the New York Jets and knocking off a struggling Arizona Cardinals team last Sunday. Wide receiver Danny Amendola could be a game-time decision on Sunday after a heel injury kept him out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
It's not too late to get St. Louis Rams tickets.
