Danny Amendola's fourth quarter spike went all wrong. He made it right though.
Danny Amendola's spike nearly took out of the ushers at the St. Louis Rams game on Sunday. Amendola caught a six-year touchdown pass from Sam Bradford on first-and-six at the 13:45 mark in the fourth quarter. It put the Rams a little closer and started what was a comeback attempt that came up short.
Amendola spiked the ball a little too close to the crowd, and it bounced up and hit an usher. The usher had to be taken off the field for further examination, and hopefully, he's alright.
Amendola was far more careful after a two-point conversion later in the fourth quarter. Rather than spike the ball, he just handed the ball to the crew instead.
