49ers vs. Rams: Ask Niners Nation

Your man Douglas M put together an Ask TST FanPost over at Niners Nation, so I thought now was as good a time as any to post this here at Turf Show Times.

This marks the first NFC West return engagement for the 49ers, and it is probably fitting that it is against the team they tied a few weeks ago. More importantly might be the fact that you guys were able to get a full-scale quarterback controversy going in San Francisco. Jim Harbaugh will probably announce his starting QB at 11:55am PT today (Wednesday). He has been very coy about it to date, but we should have an answer today. I doubt it is a season-long answer, but who knows.

The 49ers are also dealing with a variety of injuries with backup running back Kendall Hunter and wide receiver/backup return man Kyle Williams out for the season. This likely means the 49ers will activate their first two picks from the 2012 NFL Draft. First round pick A.J. Jenkins was active in the opener, but didn't play and has been inactive ever since. LaMichael James has been inactive every game this season. Oh, and you'll likely get a look at Brandon Jacobs who was active last week and got his first rush of the year. The insanity runneth over.
