The St. Louis Rams need all the help they can get against the San Francisco 49ers. St. Louis opened the week as 11-point underdogs, and that spread might be even more with Chris Givens and Janoris Jenkins on the inactive list this week for violating team rules.

Word is that Jenkins was a no-show for Tuesday's practice, but that's not confirmed.

Both Jenkins and Givens had character issues coming into the draft, but things have been fine in St. Louis since then. With the team struggling and a big underdog in San Francisco, this is not what the Rams need to be dealing with right now. On the other hand, good for Jeff Fisher for sticking to the rules.

Rodger Saffold and Danny Amendola are active for the team.
