Could I be letting three wins get to my head? Maybe, but I also believe in the Rams. Let's start with the defense. We have a defense who get better game after game. A defense that come end of the season has a very real shot of leading the league in sacks and interceptions. As seen here. We have long and Quinn who I believe will both hit double digit sack numbers. Jenkins and Finnegan who are like football Vacuums( although they sometimes drop those picks).
Now for the offense. Bradford. People love him and people hate him. Regardless of those opinions the fact is, there's times he absolutely shines. And times he doesn't. But I think he is on the right track this year. Amendola is out for a few weeks but I think we can manage. Givens, who can actually stretch the field, showed on thursday, just what can happen when him and Bradford are on the same page. If Gibson keeps playing well and doesnt get too droppy, he may post decent numbers this year. We have an O-line of mostly rejects and patchwork men, who have held their own against two really good defense the past two weeks. Between Bodreau and their chemistry from playing together, they have been playing well. We have two very very capable backs in Jackson and Richardson. And Greg the Leg needs no explanation, we've all see what he can do.
I feel like I have rambled on long enough, but let me end this on a pep speech for all Rams fan. This is the Rams year to shine. Underdog status will be given to us every game this season. NFL doesn't expect us to win, and our opponents don't expect us to win. That's fine. It'll make Long hitting you in the mouth that much more sweet, that pick six that just happened? Yea courtesy of the Rams. Are we gonna win every game? No, but were gonna be in every game. Fighting, clawing and scratching. Making teams earn every yard, first down, and score they get. Were gonna be the basis of upsets this season, believe me. And when game 16 gets here, and for the first time in a long time we suit up for games after that. I'll be here, laid back in my recliner under my Rams banner, saying I told you so.
