A recap of the five St. Louis Rams players to watch from Thursday Night Football versus the Arizona Cardinals.
On Thursday, Oct. 4th 2012, the St. Louis Rams finally reached above the .500 mark – the mark of mediocrity – with the 17-3 beating of Kevin Kolb and the Arizona Cardinals.
Our very own Brandon Birkhead didn't even know how to react:
@birktothehead: @TurfShowTimes what's the gameplay Ryan? We never prepared for this.
I, on the other hand, was too drunk to taste the chicken.
So now that I'm over the hangover, I can go and take a second look at that list of players I comprised a few days ago.
The entire offensive line did a pretty swell job at keeping Sam Bradford clean. The Red Birds only registered one sack – credit that to inside linebacker Daryl Washington – and 6 QB hits, per ESPN.
As far as Moose goes, I did not really notice him – and maybe that's a good thing. The lineman you do not notice is a lineman that is doing his job. Well, that is the saying I've heard... What did y'all see? Did he play well?
WR Chris Givens
Givens didn't see the field that much in the first half. Then, Danny Amendola injured his collarbone and did this to his helmet:

After that, Givens was targeted five times. Four of the passes thrown his way fell incomplete. The only one that he was able to haul in went for this 51 yard touchdown:

DT Matt Conrath
Conrath was a no-go on Sunday. DT Jermelle Cudjo was active in place of the injured DE, Eugene Sims. Cugjo had a pretty good sack on Kolb. He tried to decapitate him.
WR Brian Quick
Apparently, this game just was not one to remember if you are a receiver. Quick looked off. It is clear he still has ways to go. The only time Bradford went his way, CB Patrick Peterson picked him off.
Like I said, this game was not receiver-friendly. Pettis notched one catch for six yard. He was thrown to twice.
What else did y'all see from the Rams? Sound off on the comments.
