Jairus Byrd. Safety from the Buffalo Bills.

There are many talented players the Rams could use this offseason, but i think the Rams should go after Byrd. He is a very skilled player and would make our secondary even better. Imagine Finnegan, Jenkins and Byrd? That's scary. Quintin Mikell is a solid player but is getting old, Byrd would provide a long term answer at safety as he is only 26. As I mentioned earlier there is alot of talented free agents who the rams could use, but Byrd is our best chance IMO. Here are some notable players:

Jake Long, OT, Dolphins-Probably the best OT in the league. Would love for the Rams to get him, but no way Miami lets him walk.

Mike Wallace, WR, Steelers-Would be a great addition to the struggling Rams offense, but he's gonna want a big price. It's definitely possible though.

Dwayne Bowe, WR, Chiefs-Again, another WR that would really help the offense, but Bowe is too inconsistent and drops easy passes. We've already seen too much of that.

Duane Brown, OT, Texans-Another talented tackle the Rams should go after. Gotta protect Bradford.

Others-Greg Jennings, Victor Cruz(I believe, but restricted I think), Anthony Spencer, Ryan Clady.

The reason I like Byrd so much is that he is young and talented and can make big plays(see Bills at Cardinals).

Everyone I mentioned would be fantastic additions, but Byrd makes the most sense. We have a real need at safety. The draft this year is rich with with O-lineman(Joeckel, Warmack, Aboushi, Cooper, Jones, Faulk)which I think is the most important thing to upgrade this offseason. I also agree we need a true number 1 receiver but the draft also has a ton of talent at the position(Allen, Woods, Hunter, Williams, Hopkins). We have two first round picks which i believe should be used on these positions to upgrade the offense. The only safety in this year's draft that I like is Eric Reid, but I think he will be gone after round 1, and I don't want to spend a first rounder on a safety. This is why I like Byrd so much, he is young, but still has valuable experience and talent.
