Thanks to our lackluster performance at Miami and the antics of the luckiest team in pro-football, the Seattle Seahacks, we find ourselves in sole possession of last place. Today's game was just one of those type that depress me worse than the Bears game. How do you accumulate nearly 500 yards of offense and only score 1 TD and two stinkin' FG's? We cannot get in the endzone. Until we learn that little secret we're not gonna be the team we should be. With apologies to Denny Green, we're gonna be the kinda team that alot of us thought we were; 5-11, 6-10 or 7-9. We gave away a victory over the Lions late in the 4th quarter to open the season. Then we played pretty good ball, even against the Bears. But today we crapped out -no excuses. We just couldn't seem to mount a winning TD drive. Nor could we get the clinching sack or forced fumble. I look over our Defense stats today, and it's hard to argue with a group that only allows 17 points and less than 200 yards. But that Dolphin opening drive of the 2nd half was a killer. Especially coming after our inability to score right before halftime. I've got to say we LOST today. Miami did not win. We were the better team. But our key ingredients (Bradford, Richardson, Zuerlein and the Fearsome Foursome) couldn't get us a badly needed road win against a very mediocre team. That hurt like Hell. Think it's gonna be any easier against Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady (only IF you're the Seahawks)
