Reality Check: Keep It Real

I am just as upset as everyone else that the Rams lost and have "dropped" to 3-3 (The Rams have won 3 games in the the first 6 weeks of a season...holy shit).

Take a deep breath.

This is a young team. Obviously, there will be growing pains and this game was one of them. The offensive line needs improvement, Bradford is still learning (no QB coach last year set him back quite a bit), and the wide receiver position is still in flux. Brian Quick needs time to develop. A lot of the Rams young players did pretty well, but also showed their inexperience at times. I know we would all love the Rams to win every game, especially one they controlled statistically.

I think the best thing to take away from this game is that the offense is moving ball and the run defense is improving.

Remember, as much as the new staff wants to say they are just remodeling; they are rebuilding. There are great young pieces in place and the future is bright. As much as it sucks to lose, look back at the past 6 years. This is the first time the Rams are still in the playoff hunt after 6 weeks into the season.

Don't be satisfied with a loss, but be optimistic about the future. The Rams have a great window of opportunity for the rest of this year and for the foreseeable future.

****Side note: Although Greg the Leg missed the 66 yarder, I haven't see a kicker with that kind of distance since Janikowski. Zeurlein is definitely breaking the record as some point in his career.
