Cortland Finnegan get our nod for the team's defensive MVP at this point in the season.
I suppose there are a number of things you can say about Cortland Finnegan. Feisty. Surprise. Elite. Gifted. The list goes on and on when describing the St. Louis Rams top cornerback. I think we can sum it up more eloquently than any of those single words, than any verbiage, really.

Right now, the Rams have a handful of candidates worthy of Defensive MVP honors. Chris Long and Robert Quinn come to mind, for sure. Finnegan, were the vote held today, get the nod from me. The team's success this season hinges on two factors: a shutdown secondary and a culture change. Cortland Finnegan's presence is at the heart of both those things.
