Do We Really Need Cleveland?
Don't get me wrong, I think the Browns two 1st round picks are better than our #2 pick by far, but a trade with WAS, MIA, or DAL would get us around 5-7 extra picks in the next couple years(likely first 3 rounds, and some late rounders). Fisher has been known to draft well. I get that we need top talent at key positions but this draft is one of the deepest pools in history(via 101.1 ESPN). We will be doing a complete overhaul(2 back system?) as you've seen with the coaches, so no telling who comes back. Hopefully King, Gibson, and Smith DON'T to name a few. Lloyd??? What if the injury bug hits us again? So many holes after so many high picks(sorry getting off topic). We need all the picks we can get. Young talent. Set Sam up with weapons(FA WR if need be). We not only need starters, we need depth at EVERY position except WR(input #1 WR). I'd like to see us finish our defense finally with 2DT, 2OLB, CB, and S depth(something Spags should have done last year instead of releasing them all & letting MCD make picks) but our offense was horrible and if you don't score points you don't win games. So I think an offensive heavy draft is coming and for good reason. Take the Playmakers. Take the big redzone target(DX gone). Make us proud of our offense once again. Set Sam up for success(OT or #1 WR). Get big on the interior O-Line and Punch a muther f'r in the mouth!GO RAMS!
