The playoffs and championship's
I often hear from Ram's fans that it'll take 3 or 5 years to get too the SB with 3 year's being the most popular and that pundits and so called experts make prediction's on who they think will diffidently go to the SB they'll tell you that they know for sure who will and they'll go into in depth analysis on it but the reality is they don't know no one knows actually who will go to the SB. I think this year if anything has taught me that all a team needs to do is get to the playoff's and that's it then it becomes an open race much like the Oklahoma Land Grab there are no better examples of what I'm talking about then the GB Packers and the San Francisco 49'ers. I constantly heard throughout all of the 2011 season that they'll definitely be in the SB and with the way they played who could blame people for thinking that but when the playoff's came well they were one and done and then there's the 49'ers who would have thought they would have gone as far into the playoff's as they did. I thought they would be one and done for sure but they made it to the divisional championships and they did it with a new coach and little change in player personnel so if the 49er's can do it why not the Ram's. I think the Ram's can make it to the playoff's in 2012 and dare I say has a real chance to go too the SB? I think the team that digs deep into its soul and be willing to put all on the line will be able to make it much like a long distance runner has to dig deep within themselves to win that race.

The Rams were preseason favorites to take the NFC West last season.
The Seahawks beat the Saints last year in the playoffs to get to the divisional round and we beat the Saints during the regular season. So who knows, anything could have happened. I just wish we could have gone into the season with a free agency period BEFORE the draft and no lockout so Josh McDaniels, Sam Bradford and the receivers could all have gotten on the same page. All those damn injuries we suffered this season didn’t help anything either.
As far as the 49ers are concerned, they seemed to have come out of nowhere this year but I thought Mike Singletary was actually doing a good job of instilling some toughness in the team and preparing them for what they did this year. I understand Harbaugh was good working with QB’s Andrew Luck at Stanford and Alex Smith with the 49ers this year but I actually wonder how much credit Harbaugh should get for the success of the 49ers this year.
