Dream draft scenario with 2 trade downs
Trade with Washington:
#2 pick worth 2,600
#6, #38, #70, and #102 worth 2,452.00 so we can get their 4th or 5th round pick in 2013
#2 pick Washington Selects: Robert Griffin III - QB - Baylor ( 6'2 - 220 )
Let's say that Morris Claiborne is there at #6 and Dallas really needs a shut down CB.
#6 pick worth 1,600
#14, #46 and #144 worth 1,575, we can even throw in WR Brandon Gibson. He hasn't show anything to keep him here.
#14 RD 1 - Alshon Jeffery - WR - ( 6'4 - 233 ) South Carolina - Can be a true #1 WR.
#33 RD 2 - Zach Brown - OLB - ( 6'2 - 230 ) North Carolina - Will be a stud WILL LB
#38 RD 2 - Dontari Poe - DT - ( 6'5 - 350 ) Memphis - Can be a force to wreaken with, will start from day 1. Fred Robbins is gone, Gary Gibson is gone as well.
#46 RD 2 - Chris Polk - RB - ( 5'11 - 215 ) Washington - Can be a back-up, but can take over a game if needed. Can be Steven Jackson replacement.
#66 RD 3 - Jayron Hosley - CB - ( 5'10 -180 ) Virginia Tech - He is a ball hawk, and skills like a WR, good in run support. His lacks the size of a physical CB. Bradley Fletcher won't be ready for the start of the season, Ron Bartell isn't 100% with his injury.
#70 RD 3 - Nate Potter - LOT - ( 6'6 - 300 ) Boise State - Can start from day 1 and move Roger Staffold to ROT. Jason Smith redo's his contract and will be good competition or we move him to LG.
#96 RD 4 - Mike Brewster - OC - ( 6'4 - 305 ) Ohio State - Big, Strong and isn't afraid to mix it up. Jason Brown is gone and Tony Wragge will be a back up and a good mentor.
#102 RD 4 - Marvin McNutt - WR - ( 6'4 - 220 ) Iowa - Good hands, big, strong. Salas coming back from surgery, Pettis hasn't proven himself.
#144 RD 5 - Mike Martin - DT - ( 6'1 - 300 ) Michigan - Good depth and rotational player.
#160 RD 6 - Terrell Manning - OLB - North Carolina State - Excellent sideline to sideline. Next to James L. and Zach Brown we would have one of the best LB core.

I like the aggressiveness in the trades.
I’d rather have Floyd, Decastro or Kirkpatrick than Alshon but if they’re gone I could live with this. Nice work!

I'm OK with the jist of this post....
….but I’d prefer to go OL in the first if we move back. Then WR with the proposed Brown Pick, then get a LB instead of Potter. Just cause our OL sucks so bad.
Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is where the Stanley Cup can be found.

Good post overall.
I would do the Washington trade for their 1 (#6), 2 (#38), and 5 (#134) plus their #1 next year (which is discounted 1 round due to being a year away). So we would essentially receive a package of a 1, 2, 2 (next years #1), and 5 for the Redskins to move up.
At #14 I would target Decstro as my primary target and Floyd as my backup if Decastro is unavailable.
Like the idea of two trade-downs and selecting in the 10-15 range. Nice work!
The postions are right.
I like different players. I prefer the WR from ND. Or I prefer OT Reiff to a WR and then pick up Sanu or other WR. They key being retaining the services of Lloyd. I prefer Stephon Gilmore to Hosely, very similar and close. I like Zeiter from Wisconsin or Blake from Baylor above Brewster. I love, love, love Martin from Mich. in the 5th, but he is performing like such a beast at the Senior Bowll practices, he may not last until then. I’m good with McNutt or any of several WR prosepects in the later rounds. You do a great job of taking our need positions into account. I can’t complain too much. Heck, even the guys who get paid big money have different ideas of what will work on draft day.
