Sylvester Croom

By now I'm sure you know that Sylvester Croom is the Jacksonville Jaguars new Running Backs Coach. I'd like to get your thoughts on Croom and the Jaguars. Would you rather Stephen Jackson or MJD (Maurice Jones-Drew)? Jeff Fisher is a great coach, he seemed to be able to win half the games the Titans played against Jacksonville. And if they lost to us, most of the time it was within a touchdown. Congradulations with the hire. Check Big Cat Country for all of the latest news about the Jaguars. Since both teams had terrible years in 2011, we will likely meet in 2012. I'd like to know who you think will have the best chances of going to the playoffs next year. I wish the best for you and the Rams.

I like Jackson more

but MJD is the better player at this point in their careers. As far as I can tell, Croom did an excellent job of coaching the RB’s in St. Louis, and I he’s probably a good hire. As for which team is more likely to make the playoffs, I have no idea.

Thanks

that makes me feel that Khan is doing the right things at the right time. How damaged is Jack Del Roi’s Resamé? Where do you think he will end up?

Strong rumours for Nawolins, but haven’t heard anywhere else. I’d like him as an assistant here though.

Wouldn't mind him coming here as a positional coach

Preferably LB coach. He should know a little bit about the Line Backer position.

Croom is a good and well respected RB coach

But he’s had little success coaching up our lesser talented backs.
He’s been fortunate having SJax as his RB is all I can say. It’ll be interesting to see what he can make of the talented backup guys you’ve got there in Jax. I like Karim!

MJD is one of my favourite HBs and he’ll no doubt continue to beast regardless of his coach.
I think SJax is pure beast and invaluable. His contributions to the Rams on every level mean I wouldn’t want anyone else here, but MJD is a top 3 RB and is still mad young. He’s got plenty more years of production ahead and I can only hope you can make a good QB out of Gabbert…

I think your division is tougher, so we’ll be more likely to make playoffs next year but that’d take a miracle IMO.

Wishing you the best of luck too!
