Not sure if anyone heard this on Mike and Mike in the morning this last week, but as Mangini was breaking down the playoff matchups, he began to talk about our new OC (though he did not have the job yet).
This is the toughest match up that New England can have. Let’s look at it just first from Baltimore’s offense. It’s shifting, motioning, different formations, that’s typically what they’ve done and that’s the reason I hired Brian Schottenheimer in New York is because he was with Cam Cameron in San Diego and that offense always caused us so much trouble so I knew I wanted that in the division, so historically, it’s always created problems.
Not everyone on here is a fan of Schottenheimer or Mangini, but I think it is interesting to see what his percieved strengths were as we came into the system in New York. I'm hopeful about our offense this year.
