Crazy Mock Draft Idea
Hi guys, another mock draft heading your way.
we trade our 2 overall pick to the browns for their two first, second, third and thad Lewis.
1A) David Decastro OG- One of the best OG prospects in a long time.
1B) Jonathn Martin OT- Reily Reiff will be gone, so we get the next best LT prospect, who can runblock as well.
2A) Peter Kronz C- If we get him here, its a steal. Hes a great center prospect and can snap the ball for us a long time.
So after three picks we have a LT,LOG and C. so our line would look like(from left to right) Martin,DeCastro,Kronz,Dahl and Saffold.(saffold and Martin can interchange, depending on whos better)
2B) Dwight Jones- You've heard his name enough from me to know about him.
3A) Travis Lewis- Great OLB, who had a down season because of injury.
3B) Chris Polk/Montee Ball/LaMicheal James- All three are great prospects who can spell jackson.
4) Any quality DT available
6) Keiwan Hicks- I'm not sure if thats his name but if you check the comments on my Kalil vs Balckmon page, one TSTer has suggested him. He is suppossed to be big but raw, fine at this juncture.
7) A developmental TE- In olden times this would have been a pass rusher, but since Spags is gone, this may be a good option.

A bit O-Line heavy
While I like the idea to solve (most of) the O-Line problems in this draft, I think it is a bit too much the same direction.
I fear that also Jonathan Martin may not available at 1B, after Kalil and Reiff are gone.
What I read about Dwight Jones are good size and hands, sounds nice.
In my opinion, DT in round 4 is too late, especially Jeff Fisher speaking about ‘getting the ball back fast’.
About TE: I like TEs, if there is one we should reach for him
But the first thing I am hoping for is the trade with the Browns.
Montee Ball
Decided to return to Wisconsin. I just have a fundamental disagreement with taking O-Lineman early in this particular draft. I think getting offensive “skill players” in the earlier rounds is a better choice.
I don’t think we would get that much from the Browns but I could live with this draft. A little high for Decastro though. I’d take Blackmon/Kalil at #4. One of them would be available.

+1
A rebuilding team like the Browns that has as many holes as we do will never give up 2 first round picks, a second round pick, a third round pick AND a player in order to move up 2 spots. Trust me, these teams that we “mock trade” with want their picks as badly as we do.
If the Browns are actually sold on RGIII, I could see...
Them giving up their two first round picks to move up and then trading their their round pick for our third round pick.
We move down a couple in the third and first, they get their franchise QB and move up a couple spots in the third.
In this scenario, the Rams still can pick Khalil/Blackmon in the first and then hit Kronz later in the first or maybe….maybe…. if a Tackle prospect falls, which I highly question.
Only way I see this happeneing is if there is a real run on CB and DE/LB in the middle picks, which could actually happen.

Redskins and Dolphins are the most likely options imo
but I would love to get Clevelands 2 first round picks and still get Kalil/Blackmon.
