Mock Draft
Well heres another mock draft. or drafts. I'll do both scenarios where we trade or don't trade.
Staying Pat
Round 1- Matt Kalil OT USC- Matt Kalil is the consensus 2 or 3 pick. He has exceptional pass blocking and has a large frame(6,7). He also has tremendous athleticism shown by him blocking a field goal. It dosn't matter if sam has TWO bona fide wrs, if he can't have time to throw to them. An example is the GSOT. Yes, Bruce and Holt were great, but if not for orlando pace, the whole offense would've flopped.
Round 2-Zack Brown OLB UNC- Zack Brown can be the Lane Briggs to JL.
Round 3-Dwight Jones WR UNC- Jones is a big guy who can beat you down field if needed to. He can break tackles and make people miss, making 1 yard throws into 10+ yard gains.
Round 4-Kevin Zeitler OG Wisconsin- Anybody who played on the wisconsin )-line is dominant and if Zeitler falls till here, great for the rams. but htat may not be an option so.
Round 4 alternative pick- Dontari Poi DT Memphis- Humungus guy who can stuff the run.
Round 6-Juron Kriner wr Arizona- Can be a healtier version of DX
Round 7-Rhett Ellison TE USC- Did well in USC.
Trading with the Browns
We get their two first round picks and their second round pick for our #2 pick.
Round 1-Justin Blackmon WR Oklohoma State- One word: Productive.
Round 1-Reily Reiff OT Iowa- Next best thing after Kalil.
Round 2- Zack Brown- Look Above.
Round 2-Chase Minnifield CB Virginia- Great CB who can help us if Bartell or Fletcher go down again.
Round 3-Alameda Ta'amu DT Washington- Great DT, who has the size to stop the run but can still get to the QB.
Round 4-Doug Martin RB Boise State- Good back, albeit small who can spell Jackson and catch the football on third down.
Round 6-Juron Kriner WR Arizona- Can provide a Redzone Target for Bradford.
Round 7-Rhett Ellison TE USC- Same as above.
Thanks for reading

Very solid.
I think we can get more picks. I hate to leave the 5th round open this year because of the huge amount of quality CB prospects. I think we can get a 5th this year and maybe 2 picks next year.
After the 2nd round selection
all of those guys you have slotted for the Rams will all be long gone before our pick in your “staying pat” scenario.
Yeah I gotta agree
The first 2 picks are a great start though. Poe, if available in the 33 slot is becoming my hope for that slot. I’m liking large gelatinous players this year. Thinking 2 of each on the O-line and D-line. Kind of hard without a trade down though. And, of course, with a trade down we probably lose Kalil, but depending on the deal…….
Wolf. Wolfgang Wolf
another option in the 3 at dt is derrek wolfe from cinncinati but we need a wr and i believe dwight jones is a teal in the 3rd
where most have him mocked(walter has him selected in the third by the colts) i love dwight and believe he can be an anquian blodin type player. if we get hue im sure he can become a great no 2. our no 1 will be keenan allen next year :)

Fisher said today that he plans to run the ball and protect the qb
so I would change blackmon for martin and take fuller in the 3rd

In the 2nd mock
Id rather have Martin first in the first round and Floyd second in the first..
Bradford + Blackmon = Secondaries Beware

If Floyd falls to the 2nd
I think that would awesome….much better than looking to WR Jones to fill the void.
I was talking about with the second first round pick
But that would also be good with me..
Bradford + Blackmon = Secondaries Beware

thats personal preference, im a blackmon fan and reily reiff is supposed to be the better pass protecter
if steven jackson can do this well with a garbage o-line then id rather have sam bradford prevented then becoming trampled popcorn

this was reply to rg31 first comment, and floyd will not fall down to the second, in that case dwight jones is the best option

Don't be so quick to assume that Floyd can't make it to the 2nd
He is definitely a 1st round talent, but 3 alcohol related infractions in college means red flags.
I know, that's why I said we should get him with the second pick in the 1st round if this scenario happened..
Bradford + Blackmon = Secondaries Beware
Poe in the fourth, dum dum dum dum dum
this guy has been shooting up draft boards, it would be lucky for him to fall out of the first round now. Ive seen lots of mocks where he is being picked up late first round early second. Pittsburgh is a very likely candidate from what ive heard they are looking for Casey Hampton successor, could defiantly see them securing him with their late first rounder.
As you can tell i was also very interested in Poe, hoping the Rams might consider him, unfortunetly my research led me to no favorable senario
i agree
but lets not forget there could be some major falling out of “once top ranked CB” that we desparately need, thanks Delany. Pot smoking hard driving guys may drop to 3rd, 4th or 5th rounds and we need to scoop them up and teach them about the urinator.
